	moveBuddha LLC, together with its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates (“moveBuddha”, “we”, “us” or “our”), is committed to protecting your (“your”, “your” or “user”) privacy and empowering you with this privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and apply the information collected when you use or access our website (located at http://www.movebuddha.com), together with any associated services, products, applications, features, functionality, and content (collectively, the “Services”). Our Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are expressly incorporated herein, by, reference, and are an integral part hereof.

	This Privacy Policy sets forth our policy with respect to information that we collect from you, on or through the Services, that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you (“Personal Data” or “Personal Information”). We take the privacy of your Personal Data seriously. Because of that, we have created and abide by this Privacy Policy. By using the Services or interacting with us, you are agreeing to the application of this Privacy Policy. Please read the following carefully to understand how we collect, use, disclose, and maintain information that can be used to identify you. In addition, this Privacy Policy describes your choices for use, access, and correction of your Personal Data. If you do not agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, please stop accessing or using the Services. 

1.		Changes to this Privacy Policy. We may change this Privacy Policy, at any time and from time to time. In the event that we make changes, we will notify you by revising the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If there are significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we will attempt to notify you directly by e-mail, or provide information via our homepage prior to any such changes becoming effective. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy whenever you use the Services to stay informed of ways that you can protect your privacy.

2.		Information We Collect and Receive. You may choose to submit information to us when you use our Services, when you participate in an offer or promotion, or in connection with an actual or potential business relationship with us. More information about the categories and sources of Personal Data is provided below. 

		2.1	Information You Provided to Us. We collect Personal Data that you decide to share with us. At times, we may require you to provide certain information in order to use certain parts of our Services, fulfill your requests, or provide you with certain services. 

	2.1.1	Requesting a Quote. When you request a quote, we may require you to provide your current physical address, desired moving address, insurance information, telephone number, and other information about your project, home, request, or need. 

	2.1.2	Surveys and Reviews. From time to time, we may request Personal Data from you in conjunction with a customer survey. Participation is voluntary, and you will have the opportunity to decide whether or not to disclose Personal Data to the Services. You may also provide us with information when you post a review through the Services.

	2.1.3	Customer Care. If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or any other means to report a problem with our Services, or you request information from us, we may record your Personal Data, as well as the content of your communication to help us respond to your inquiry and for future training purposes. You may also choose to submit information to us via other methods, including:  (i) in response to marketing or other communications, (ii) through social media or online forums, or (iii) in connection with an actual or potential business relationship with us. 

2.2		Information We Obtain from Others. We may obtain Personal Data about you from third-parties who help us provide our Services. We may also obtain some information from our marketing partners in order to inform you about products or services that we think you might be interested in. Finally, we may obtain information that does not identify you directly, but which is later used in a way that may directly identify you. We may combine that general information with your Personal Data to provide related services to you.

2.3		Information We Automatically Collect. We automatically collect certain information from you when you use the Services, including internet or other network activity information (as described below), unique device identifiers, browsing and search history (including content you have viewed in the Services), and cookies and other technologies (as described below). Information collected automatically includes:

	2.3.1	Log information. We retain information about you when you access and use the Services. This information can include the following:  Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, timestamps, browser information, Internet Service Provider, webpages visited, and the URL of the webpage you visited before navigating to our Services.

	2.3.2	Usage Information. We monitor user activity in connection with the Services and may collect information about the applications and features you use, websites you visit, as well as types and amount of the Services you use.

	2.3.3	Crash and Error Information. If the Services crash or return an error, we may collect data to determine the cause of the error using first or third-party services. The crash or error information collected may include the following:  device IP address, device name, operating system version, application configurations(s), the time and date, and other statistics.

	2.3.4	Location information. When using the Services, we may collect and process certain location-based information, including geolocation data, from your mobile device or web browser.

3.	Cookies and Other Technologies. Our Services may use cookies and other technologies (such as “pixel tags”, “web beacons”, “clear GIFs”, tracking scripts, browser fingerprinting, links in e-mails, JavaScript, mobile and/or device IDs, or similar technologies) to collect information and support certain features of our Services. Cookies and other technologies allow us and third-parties to obtain information about your visits to our website and use of our Services, including analyzing your visiting patterns. For example, we use Google Analytics to collect information to improve the Services, such as how often users visit a website, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other website they used prior to visiting the Services. Google Analytics places a cookie on your web browser so that it can identify you the next time you visit the Site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our website and use of our Services is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. Although you are not required to accept cookies when you visit our Services, you may be unable to use all of the functionality of our Services if your browser restricts our cookies. We use this information to process your requests and to deliver online and mobile advertisements, messages, and content for us and others that are specific to your interests, as well as to provide you with certain marketing and advertising communications. The information we collect from cookies and other technologies may not identify you personally, but in some cases, we may link it to your Personal Data, including, but not limited to, your IP address used to access our website or Services, your mobile and/or device ID, and your geolocation. Additionally, when you visit our website and use our Services, third-party pixels and cookies may be used by our online data and advertising service providers or vendors to associate your activities conducted on or through our website and/or the Services, with information, including Personal Data, that our online data and advertising service providers or vendors have independently collected about you, which may include, but is not limited to, your e-mail and phone number. We, or our various service providers on our behalf, may utilize such aforementioned combination of Personal Data to send you certain marketing and advertising communications regarding our Services. You may opt-out of receiving these marketing and advertising communications by contacting us at [email protected] or via any other method which may be specified in the “Contact Us” section below, or by selecting the “opt-out” or “unsubscribe” link contained in any such marketing and advertising communications sent by us.

3.1		Cookies. Below, we explain the different types of cookies that may be used on the Services.

	3.1.1	Necessary Cookies. Necessary cookies are essential to enable your use of the Services and to identify and prevent security risks, such as storing your session information to prevent others from changing your password without your username and password.

	3.1.2	Preference Cookies. We use these cookies to remember your settings and preferences and to improve your experience on our website and in using our Services. For example, we may use these cookies to remember your language preferences.

	3.1.3	Session Cookies. Session cookies are stored only temporarily during a browsing session and are deleted from your device when you close the browser. We use these cookies to support the functionality of the Services and to understand your use of the Services—that is, which pages you visit, which links you use, and how long you stay on each page.

	3.1.4	Statistics Cookies. Statistics cookies help collect information about your use of the Services and enable us to improve the way it works. These cookies give us aggregated information that we use to monitor the Services’ performance, count page visits, spot technical errors, see how users reach the Services, and measure the effectiveness of marketing (including e-mails).

	3.1.5	Marketing Cookies. If employed by us, from time to time, marketing cookies are used to show users display advertisements across websites. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user and thereby more valuable for publishers and third-party advertisers. We do not display ads for any website besides our own. Additionally, we may use, and allow our online data and advertising service providers or vendors that we work with, to utilize, a combination of first and third-party cookies to obtain information about your visits to our website or our Services, as well as your mobile and/or device ID, your IP address, your browser fingerprints, and tracking scripts, to better identify/associate you so that we may then send you certain marketing and advertising communications regarding our Services. You may opt out of receiving the foregoing marketing and advertising communications from by contacting us at [email protected] or via any other method which may be specified in the “Contact Us” section below, or by selecting the “opt-out” or “unsubscribe” link contained in any such marketing and advertising communications sent by us.

	3.1.6	Unclassified Cookies. Unclassified cookies are cookies that we are in the process of classifying, together with the providers of individual cookies.

3.2		Other Technologies. In addition to cookies, we may use other technologies to, among other things, track the actions of users of the Services (about usage including e-mail recipients), measure the success of our marketing campaigns, and compile statistics of the Services and response rates.

4.		How We Use Your Information. 

4.1	For Our Legitimate Business Interests. We may use the Personal Data that we collect for our legitimate interests and the limited purpose of providing the Services and as permitted by applicable law. These purposes include circumstances where it is necessary to provide or fulfill the Services requested by or for you or where you have given us your express consent. As such, we may use your Personal Data to:

(i)	Provide the information, products, and services you request;

(ii)	Service your account and provide you, if you are a registered user, with effective customer service;

(iii)	Better understand your needs and interests, and provide you with a personalized experience when you use our Services;

(iv)	Contact you with special offers and other information we believe will be of interest to you (in accordance with any privacy preferences you have expressed to us);

(v)	Contact you with information that you have requested and notices related to your use of our Services;

(vi)	Send you commercial or marketing/advertising messages, including, without limitation, newsletters and e-mail communications about our offerings or Services;

(vii)	Invite you to participate in surveys and provide feedback to us (in accordance with any privacy preferences you have expressed to us);

(viii)	Improve our products and services, develop new products and services, improve our marketing and promotional efforts, and improve the content, functionality, and usability of the Services;

(ix)	Enforce our other policies, such as our Terms;

(x)	Promote security and protect against and prevent fraud, claims, and other liabilities;

(xi)	Verify the information that you provide to us as well as the representations and warranties that you make to us in the Terms or on the Services;

(xii)	Meet our internal and external audit obligations; and 

(xiii)	To comply with legal obligations and legal process and to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or other third-parties.

	4.2	With Your Consent. In some cases, we will ask you for consent to use your Personal Data for specific purposes. If we do, we will make sure that you can revoke your consent in in accordance with the “Your Choices” section below.

	4.3	Other Purposes. If we intend to use any Personal Data in any manner that is not consistent with this Privacy Policy, you will be informed of such anticipated use prior to, or at the time that, the Personal Data is collected, or we will obtain your consent subsequent to such collection but prior to such use.

	4.4	Aggregated Personal Data. We may aggregate and/or de-identify information collected through the Services and from other sources so that such information can no longer be linked to you or your device (“Aggregate/De-Identified Information”). We may use Aggregate/De-Identified Information for any purpose, including, without limitation, for research and marketing purposes.

5.		How We Share and Disclose Information.

	5.1	Service Providers. We provide access to or share your Personal Data with select third-parties who perform services on our behalf. Pursuant to our instructions, these third-parties will access, process, or store Personal Data in the course of performing their duties to us. We take commercially reasonable steps to ensure our service providers adhere to the security standards we apply to your Personal Data. Our service providers provide a variety of services to us, including, for example, billing, sales, marketing, product content and features, advertising, analytics, research, customer service, data storage, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, and legal services. Additionally, we may share your Personal Data with our service providers for their own advertising and marketing purposes, and you hereby provide your consent to the sharing of your Personal Data for the foregoing purpose. 

	5.2	Business Partners. We provide access to or share your Personal Data with our business partners, such as moving companies, to facilitate your transactions and the services that you request. Additionally, we may share your Personal Data with our business partners for their own advertising and marketing purposes, and you hereby provide your consent to the sharing of your Personal Data for the foregoing purpose. 

		5.3	Public Forums. Certain features of our Services make it possible for you to share comments publicly. Any information that you submit through such features is not confidential, and we may use it for any purpose (including in testimonials or other marketing materials). Any information you post openly in these ways will be available to the public at large and potentially accessible through third-party search engines. Accordingly, please take care when using these features.

		5.4	Your Consent. We may ask for your consent to share your Personal Data with third-parties. When we do, we will make it clear why we want to share the information. We may share your information for other purposes pursuant to your consent or with your further direction. 

		5.5	Settings. We may share information consistent with your settings selections within the Website.

	5.6	Aggregate/De-Identified Data. From time to time, we may share Aggregate/De-Identified Information about use of the Services, such as by publishing a report on usage trends. The sharing of such data is unrestricted.

5.7		Legal Reasons. We may also disclose your Personal Data when we, in good faith, believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law, a court order, or a subpoena. We may also disclose your Personal Data to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to protect the security of our Services; to enforce or apply our policies or other agreements; or to protect our own rights or property or the rights, property or safety of our users or others. We will attempt to notify our users about legal demands for their Personal Data when appropriate in our judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency. We may dispute such demands when we believe, in our discretion, that the requests are overbroad, vague, or lack proper authority.

5.8		Sale, Merger, or Other Business Transfer. As we continue to develop our business, we may buy, merge, or partner with other companies. In such transactions (including in contemplation of such transactions), Personal Data may be among the transferred assets. If a portion or all of our assets are sold or transferred to a third-party, your Personal Data would likely be one of the transferred business assets. If such transfer is subject to additional mandatory restrictions under applicable laws, we will comply with such restrictions.

5.9	Sale of Personal Data. As a way to assist users with their selection of a moving company, our Services display various moving companies and their various moving service offerings and allow users to request to receive quotes for certain moving services from specific moving companies. Specifically, when a user selects, via our Services, a specific moving company to receive a quote from for certain moving services, we may sell such user’s Personal Data to such selected moving company in order to facilitate the quote process. The Personal Data that we may we sell to such specific moving company may include, but is not limited to, the User’s name, phone number, and e-mail, as provided to us by such user. By providing Personal Data, via our Services, to receive a quote for moving services from certain moving companies, you hereby consent to the sale of your Personal Data to such selected moving companies. These moving companies may then use your provided Personal Data to provide you with the requested quotes for moving services and may contact you directly for further service-related communications. We also may sell your Personal Data that we have collected, as such collection activities are further described in the “Information We Collect and Receive” and “Cookies and Other Technologies” sections above, to our various advertising partners, who may then contact you, depending on the Personal Data collected, via e-mail or direct physical mailer, and you hereby consent to such foregoing sale of your Personal Data. Depending on your U.S. State of residence, you may have the right to opt-out of the sale of your Personal Data, as further detailed in Section 7 below, and, if so, you may opt-out of the sale of your Personal Data via the “Do Not Sell or Share  My Personal Information” link contained on the Services’ homepage, or by contacting us at [email protected] or via any other method which may be specified in the “Contact Us” section below. 

6.		Your Choices.

		(a)	You can manage cookies through your web browser. Most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to be notified when you receive a new cookie, and how to disable existing cookies. You can find out how to do this for your particular browser by clicking “help” on your browser’s menu or by visiting www.allaboutcookies.org. Please note, however, that without cookies you may not be able to take full advantage of all our website features. In addition to the browser-based controls, you can manage third-party cookies by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices/. Alternatively, for some devices, you may use your device’s platform controls in your settings to exercise choice. Please note you must separately opt-out in each browser and on each device. Advertisements on third-party websites that contain the AdChoices link may have been directed to you based on information collected by advertising partners over time and across websites. These advertisements provide a mechanism to opt-out of the advertising partners’ use of this information for interest-based advertising purposes.

(b)		You have a choice, at any time, to stop us from sending you e-mails for marketing purposes by following the “unsubscribe” link included in these messages. Please note that despite any indicated e-mail marketing preferences, we may continue to send you administrative e-mails regarding moveBuddha, including, for example, notices of updates to our policies or this Privacy Policy if we choose to provide such notices to you in this manner.

	(c)	If you do not provide the information that we need to provide the Services, we may not be able to provide with the Services or certain functionalities. We will tell you what Personal Data that you must provide in order to use the Services and related functionalities or services.

(d)		Some browsers offer a “do not track” (“DNT”) option. Since no common industry or legal standard for DNT has been adopted by industry groups, technology companies, or regulators, we do not respond to DNT signals. We will make reasonable efforts to continue to monitor developments around DNT browser technology and the implementation of a standard.

7.	Additional Information for Residents of Certain US States.

7.1	Additional Information for California Residents (Effective January 1, 2023).
 
7.1.1	If you are a resident of the State of California, you may have certain rights afforded to you under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the “CCPA”, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. 

7.1.2	We collect Personal Information for the business and commercial purposes described in the section above titled “How We Use Your Information”, and we share and may sell Personal Information with the categories of third-parties described in the section above titled “How We Share and Disclose Information”. Please note that we do use third-party Cookies for our advertising purposes as further described in the section above titled “Information We Automatically Collect”.

7.1.3	California law, if applicable to us, provides some California residents with the rights listed below:

(i)	You may have the right to request that we disclose to you the Personal Information we collect, use, sell, or disclose, and information about our data practices.

(ii)	You may have the right to request that we delete your Personal Information that we have collected from you.

(iii)	You may have the right to request that we correct your inaccurate Personal Information.

(iv)	You may have the right opt-out of the sale of your Personal Information.

(v)	You may have the right to exercise control over our collection and processing of certain sensitive Personal Information.

(vi)	You have the right not to receive retaliatory or discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. 
 
7.1.4	To request access to or deletion of your Personal Information, or to exercise any other privacy rights under California law, please contact us at [email protected] or via any other method which may be specified in the “Contact Us” section below. For specifically exercising your right to opt-out of the sale of your Personal Information, you may do so via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link contained on the Services’ homepage. In order to verify your request, we may require you to provide us with certain information to be used solely for the purpose of verifying your identity.

7.1.5	Under the CCPA, you may exercise these rights yourself or you may designate an authorized agent to make these requests on your behalf. We may request that your authorized agent have written permission from you to make requests on your behalf and may need to verify your authorized agent’s identity.

7.2	Additional Information for Colorado Residents (Effective July 1, 2023). 

7.2.1	The Colorado Privacy Act, if applicable to us, provides some Colorado residents with the rights listed below:

(i)	You may have the right to know and see what Personal Data we have collected about you in a portable format. 

(ii)	You may have the right to request that we correct your inaccurate Personal Data. 

(iii)	You may have the right to request that we delete the Personal Data we have collected about you.

(iv)	You may have the right to opt-out from our processing of your Personal Data for any of the following purposes:  (a) targeted advertising, or (b) the sale of your Personal Data, as further described in Section 5.9 above; however, please note that we do not, at this time, process your Personal Data for the purposes of (a) above.

7.2.2	To request access to or deletion of your Personal Data, or to exercise any other privacy rights under Colorado law, please contact us at [email protected], or via any other method which may be specified in the “Contact Us” section below. For specifically exercising your right to opt-out of the sale of your Personal Data, you may do so via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link contained on the Services’ homepage.

7.2.3	Please note that to respond to some rights we may need to verify your request either by asking you to log in and authenticate your account or otherwise verify your identity by providing information about yourself or your account. You may designate another person to serve as your authorized agent and to exercise your opt-out right on your behalf; however, we may request certain information in order to verify your identity and the authorized agent’s authority to act on your behalf.

7.3	Additional Information for Connecticut Residents (Effective July 1, 2023). 

7.3.1	The Connecticut Data Privacy Act, if applicable to us, provides some Connecticut residents with the rights listed below:

(i)	You may have the right to know and see what Personal Data we have collected about you in a portable format. 

(ii)	You may have the right to request that we correct your inaccurate Personal Data.

(iii)	You may have the right to request that we delete the Personal Data we have collected about you.

(iv)	You may have the right to opt-out from our processing of your Personal Data for any of the following purposes:  (a) targeted advertising, (b) the sale of your Personal Data, as further described in Section 5.9 above, or (c) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce a legal or similarly significant effect concerning yourself; however, please note that we do not, at this time, process your Personal Data for the purposes of (a) or (c) above.

7.3.2	To request access to or deletion of your Personal Data, or to exercise any other privacy rights under Connecticut law, please contact us at [email protected], or via any other method which may be specified in the “Contact Us” section below. For specifically exercising your right to opt-out of the sale of your Personal Data, you may do so via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link contained on the Services’ homepage.

7.4	Addition Information for Nevada Residents (Effective October 1, 2019).

7.4.1	If you are a Nevada resident, under Privacy and Security of Personal Information Chapter of the Nevada Revised Statutes Section 603A, we are required to provide you with the following: 

(i)	We may collect certain covered information (as defined under Nevada Law) when you use or visit our Services, including, but not limited to first and last name, home or other physical address, e-mail address, and telephone number;

(ii)	We may share your covered information to third-parties as described in the section above titled “How We Share and Disclose Information”; and 

(iii)	Third-parties may collect covered information about your online activities over time and across different internet websites or online websites when you use our Services.

7.4.2	Under Nevada law, certain Nevada consumers may opt-out of the sale of “personally identifiable information” for monetary consideration (as such terms are defined under Nevada law) by an operator to another person.  a person for that person to license or sell such information to additional persons. If you are a Nevada resident who has provided “personally identifiable information” to us via the Services, you may exercise your right to opt-out sale of “personally identifiable information” via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link contained on the Services’ homepage, or by contacting us at [email protected] or via any other method which may be specified in the “Contact Us” section below. Please note we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request. Once verified, we will maintain your request in the event our practices change.

7.5	Additional Information for Oregon Residents (Effective July 1, 2024). 

7.5.1	If you are an Oregon resident, pursuant to the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, we must share with you that:

(i)	We collect and process the categories of Personal Data described in the section above titled “Information We Collect and Receive”;

(ii)	We process Personal Data for the business and commercial purposes described in the section above titled “How We Use Your Information”; and 

(iii)	We may share the categories of Personal Data described in the section above titled “Information We Collect and Receive” with the categories of third-parties set forth in the section above titled “How We Share and Disclose Information”.

7.5.2	Oregon Law, if applicable to us, provides some Oregon residents with the rights listed below:

(i)	You may have the right to receive confirmation as to whether we are processing or have processed your Personal Data and the categories of Personal Data that we are processing or have processed.  

(ii)	You may have the right to receive, at our option and in our sole discretion, a list of specific third-parties, other than natural persons, to which the we have disclosed your specific Personal Data to or any Personal Data to, generally.

(iii) 	You may have the right to receive a copy of all of your Personal Data that we have processed or are processing in a portable formation. 

(iv)	You may have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Data; however, in deciding whether to comply with such request, we may take into account the nature of the Personal Data and the purpose(s) for processing the Personal Data.

(v)	You may have the right to request that we delete your Personal Data, including your Personal Data which you have provided to us, your Personal Data which we have obtained from another source, and derived data.

(vi)	You may have the right to opt-out from our processing of your Personal Data for any of the following purposes:  (a) targeted advertising, (b) the sale of your Personal Data, as further described in Section 5.9 above, or (c) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce a legal or similarly significant effect concerning yourself; however, please note that we do not, at this time, process your Personal Data for the purposes of (a) or (c) above.

7.5.3	To request access to or deletion of your Personal Data, or to exercise any other privacy rights under Oregon law, please contact us at [email protected], or via any other method which may be specified in the “Contact Us” section below. For specifically exercising your right to opt-out of the sale of your Personal Data, you may do so via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link contained on the Services’ homepage. If you would like to appeal our refusal to take action on a prior submitted request, you may do so by submitting an appeal to us at [email protected].

7.5.4	Please note that to respond to some rights we may need to verify your request either by asking you to log in and authenticate your account or otherwise verify your identity by providing information about yourself or your account. You may designate another person to serve as your authorized agent and to act on your behalf to opt-out of the processing of your Personal Data under specifically Section 7.5.2(vi); however, we may request certain information in order to verify your identity and the authorized agent’s authority to act on your behalf. 

	7.6	Additional information for Texas Residents (Effective July 1, 2024). 

7.6.1	If you are a Texas resident, pursuant to the Texas Data and Privacy Security Act, we must share with you that:

(i)	We collect and process the categories of Personal Data described in the section above titled “Information We Collect and Receive”;

(ii)	We process Personal Data for the business and commercial purposes described in the section above titled “How We Use Your Information”; and 

(iii)	We may share the categories of Personal Data described in the section above titled “Information We Collect and Receive” with the categories of third-parties set forth in the section above titled “How We Share and Disclose Information”.

7.6.2	Texas law, if applicable to us, provides some Texas residents with the rights listed below:
